Thank you

Thank you for your brilliant support for https://www.hampshirealert.co.uk which is powered by the national Neighbourhood Alert system. We have had a fantastic year for growth and adoption of the system by new organisations. Over ten thousand administrators now use Alert and we deliver over 4 million messages a month to 475,000 registered members.  You are part of a rapidly growing network of active citizens and we are delighted to be able to provide this service to you.

Over 250 trained volunteer Neighbourhood Watch, Multi Scheme Administrators (MSAs) provide over £1 Million of admin support to the public sector by keeping the database updated in their local areas.  We would not be the largest, most acurate community messaging database without their help so a special thank you to MSAs.

Your willingness to participate in surveys has been a major area of growth this year with over 150,000 members participating in different feedback surveys. 73,000 members have undertaken the Home Office Cyber awareness survey and 33,000 completed the Action Fraud “How are we doing” survey in July. You can review the results of this survey here which shows that 74% of Alert members feel more motivated to be more active in crime prevention since being on the system and 87% find it easier to spot a scam. This really is the best Christmas present we could have received!

Next year

In 2017, please continue to rate your messages and complete those survey questions when asked and encorage people to register or add them to your forwarding list. Your feedback really does make a difference to the service you receive, so make your opinion and requirements for information known!  Demand a better service and I know that every person involved in this national project will do their best to deliver.

The final task for us this year is to ensure that you are reminded about the Information Providers that can currently see your details and send you messages. Please take a moment to review this list and click the Change Settings button below if you would like to remove any or consider some new ones.
