Theft of Plant machinery in Fleet

Message sent by
Mick Ames (Police, PC, Hampshire Country Watch)

Overnight 2nd to 3rd [of March] a 4×4 was parked in the Fleet area. Attached to the vehicle was a trailer with a digger sat on the trailer. The 4×4 and digger have been entered but nothing appears to have been stolen. However, off the trailer was stolen a hydraulic concrete breaker make ‘Commercial Power Tool’.
We are seeing an interest in theft of plant machinary and the attached tools and I ask owners take extra care where these items are stored and secured.
Can all residents be on the look out not only for thefts of these items but any that appear to have been dumped/stored within the local area and report this to Police.
Any information please call Police on 101 ref 44160088636.
