IN PICTURES: Hundreds descend on Surrey Opportunities Fair

Surrey News

Hundreds of young people attended Surrey County Council’s opportunities fair, the county’s biggest jobs, apprenticeships and skills fair, this week.

Surrey County Council’s deputy leader Peter Martin: “We’re doing all we can to help young people get on the first rung of the ladder in their chosen career and the Surrey Opportunities Fair gives them a fantastic chance to do that.

“Whether it’s social care, the hospitality industry or any other career, we’re aiming to equip them with the skills they require to give businesses the workforce they need to thrive and help the economy grow.”

A selection of images from the event can be downloaded from the council’s flickr page.
