Over the years I have been fortunate enough to be in a position to give some young people work experience opportunities. To be honest most of the time it was not a lot of effort on my part as really they have done all the hard work.
This morning I attended the Surrey Heath Business Breakfast in my capacity as a local authority councillor and listened to two successful business leaders during their key note address emphasise how investing in young people has become a major part of their business strategy. Both attributing their success to date in giving young people a chance.
